Text description provided by the architects. The main design idea by Dom Arquitectura was to produce morphological, topographical and topological conditions and forms within the new landscape. Follow the break for a further description and photographs of the gardens at Wurth La Rioja Museum.
The lines of the landscape are reminiscent of nature: branches, leaves, channels, cracks, rivers. They seem to create a virtual grid over the existing site providing organization, despite their visual disorder.
Each separate area of the future landscape was carefully designed to not just be an arbitrary garden, rather a space where everything is in place and has a rationale balance.
The landscapes irregular lines, widen and narrow, intersect and intertwine, and adapt to the solar topography. Volumes of wood protrude from the ground, concrete walls and walkway like rocks become walking tours and rest areas.
